This annual gathering focuses on the latest developments in keratoconus and corneal crosslinking. It was a proud moment for our practice: Dr. Vryghem was honored at the event for his dedication and groundbreaking work in this field.<\/p><p data-start=\"1759\" data-end=\"1996\">In fact, Dr. Vryghem himself founded the \u2018International Expert Meeting on the Surgical Management of Keratoconus\u2019 in 2010, which was handed over in 2022 to Prof. Farhad Hafezi and has since evolved into the current KCXL Expert\u2019s Meeting.<\/p><p data-start=\"1998\" data-end=\"2366\">In recognition of his many years of contribution, Dr. Vryghem was appointed honorary member of the KCXL community and received a prestigious award. This is not only a tribute to his professional achievements, but also a recognition of the dedication with which he provides care to our patients every day.
