On Thursday 12 and Friday 13 December 2024, the 20th edition of the Keratoconus Crosslinking Expert’s Meeting took place in Zurich. This annual gathering focuses on the latest developments in keratoconus and corneal crosslinking. It was a proud moment for our practice: Dr. Vryghem was honored at the event for his dedication and groundbreaking work in this field.
In fact, Dr. Vryghem himself founded the ‘International Expert Meeting on the Surgical Management of Keratoconus’ in 2010, which was handed over in 2022 to Prof. Farhad Hafezi and has since evolved into the current KCXL Expert’s Meeting.
In recognition of his many years of contribution, Dr. Vryghem was appointed honorary member of the KCXL community and received a prestigious award. This is not only a tribute to his professional achievements, but also a recognition of the dedication with which he provides care to our patients every day. We are proud to have such a pioneer as Dr. Vryghem on our team!
