A preliminary examination at Brussels Eye Doctors

Do you have an appointment for a procedure? Before we can begin, your journey always starts with a preliminary examination. During this examination, we first carry out all the necessary measurements to obtain a clear picture of your eyes.

Our team takes the time to clearly explain what the procedure involves, how the process will unfold, and what you can expect. This is also the perfect moment to ask all your questions. In this way, we ensure that you are well informed and reassured before moving on to the next step.

Please keep in mind that this preliminary examination may take some time. Plan your appointment carefully and preferably bring someone with you. During the examination, we sometimes use eye drops that can temporarily blur your vision. It may not always be safe to drive yourself or actively participate in traffic afterwards.

One more practical tip: for the most accurate measurements, it is important not to wear soft contact lenses for three days before your appointment. Do you wear hard contact lenses? We recommend leaving them out for three weeks beforehand. This allows us to examine your eyes under optimal conditions and achieve the best possible result for you.

Now you know what to expect and you are well prepared!
